HOW TO APPLY YOUR SKINCARE PRODUCTS

I sometimes take for granted that everyone understands how to apply products. After a conversation with a customer I realized that perhaps not everyone knows the order in which you apply a product.

1. Cleanse
2. Exfoliate (usually lightly every 2-3 days)
3. Cleanse again if you've exfoliated
4. Tone (super important)
5. Apply serum
6. Apply moisturizer or the next heaviest product
7. Tap in eye cream around the eyes
8. Beauty oils are the LAST thing you put on if you use them. Oils seal in moisture. They do NOT give the skin moisture.

The best rule of thumb is you apply the lightest products first (smaller ingredients) and work up to the heavier products.
