SKIN CANCER CHECK- IT'S A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH

A client of mine whom I haven't seen in about a year came in today with a nice chunk missing from her ear....and her forehead....and...and... This story is becoming far too common. In fact, according to the CDC one in four of us will die of cancer in the United States.  Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the US despite increased use of sunscreen and education.

Not everyone has the time or money to do a skin check or mapping with a doctor so please follow this link to Glamour.com to see if any of your moles match the ones in the photos (or as we refer to them in the skincare world: lesions). Have someone check the areas that are more difficult to see such as the back and back of legs. Be sure to get to a doctor as soon as possible if you suspect anything.

By the way my client said if she could recommend one thing it's to make sure to remember to apply sunblock to your ears!
