Despite popular studies and beliefs I don't believe in skin types. I believe in skin conditions. Our skin type is usually CONDITIONAL (environment, diet, lifestyle, etc) and 90% of the beauty products that are out there are usually band-aids IF they work at all (or make things worse).
What we eat directly effects the fate of our skin. Our skin is the window or rather the mirror to our health.
When a customer is "dry" (as in oily dry, not dehydrated dry) and takes full spectrum cold-pressed omegas (3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) their dryness goes away. *
When a customer has "psoriasis" or "eczema" and takes concentrated turmeric the patches and pain usually go away within a week. *
When a customer has a fungus on the skin and takes oil of oregano, nature's antibiotic, and also rubs it into their skin the fungus generally begins to go away within a week.*
When a customer has hair or lash loss and takes 5mg of Biotin or more their hair thickens.*
When a customer has acne around their chin and below their cheekbones and they take a probiotic and cut out the gluten, dairy, sugar, coffee, sugar-laden chocolate or processed foods they usually clear up.*
When a customer with age spots and hyperpigmentation takes a powerful Resveratrol they see the spots diminish within a few months, if not disappear altogether. *
The moral of the story is many of the things we eat can either hurt or help our skin, the largest organ on our bodies.
You're wasting your money on expensive creams if you're eating garbage or a diet void in nutrients!
